The Family Place, a nonprofit agency in Dallas that serves victims of domestic violence, seeks an Assistant Program Director for our Men's Shelter.
Position Summary: Provides oversight of the day-to-day activities of the Men’s Shelter Residential Program including all case management and therapeutic (mental health and other) services. Provides case management and crisis intervention to men experiencing homelessness as a result of domestic violence; knowledgeable and understands the effects of domestic violence and homelessness, and provides constructive intervention activities that reinforces healthy coping skills; supervises and schedules Resident Advocates for shelter staffing.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Social Work with LMSW. Minimum of two years’ experience working with adults and adolescents, providing case management, crisis intervention, training, and experience presenting to groups or commensurate experience. Ability to maintain licensure and educational CEU’s while employed at TFP. Experience managing staff.
