Job Summary:  Supports the Key School Academic Language Therapy Director

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow of daily tasks to ensure that deadlines are met, and important information is communicated with the Key School Academic Language Therapy Director
  • Provide support by scheduling appointments when appropriate
  • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
  • Respond to questions and requests for information in a friendly and professional manner
  • Generate memos, email, forms and reports when appropriate and handle office tasks such as filing, cutting, copying and laminating
  • Assume responsibility for checking inventory and order items
  • Make travel arrangements such as booking flights, arranging car rental and making hotel reservations
  • Work with all members of the Key Center to ensure KSALT information is being communicated

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma, experience in the post-secondary setting preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and other applications for designing general fliers and brochures
  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple projects at one time with a high degree of accuracy to attention to detail
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Exceptional verbal and communication skills both: oral and written
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate professional conduct at all times
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Key School Academic Language Therapy Director
