POSITION:

CNM is seeking an energetic and expert professional with a proven track record of achieving results to provide consulting services to nonprofits, foundations, and corporations.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Understand the needs and challenges facing the client and determine appropriate solutions
  • Conduct in-depth analysis, identify issues, document findings and formulate recommendations
  • Conduct research and data collection to understand the organization and the request for assistance
  • Conduct interviews and workshops, and facilitate focus groups
  • Develop and conduct online surveys
  • Facilitate strategic planning and development of operating plans
  • Prepare proposals and presentations, and present findings and recommendations to clients
  • Develop and conduct seminars on a range of topics including strategic planning, board development, and fundraising in partnership with CNM Education Director
  • Manage projects to ensure all work is completed on time, on budget, and client expectations are met or exceeded

 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum three years of senior level management experience
  • Minimum three years of experience providing consulting to nonprofits
  • Adept with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Active listener with ability to understand client needs
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
