Many roles in the nonprofit sector require an individual to give a presentation on a regular basis. Often, the ability to receive support and funding for your organization depends on how well you present the impact of the organization and articulate the need. Overcome your fear of public speaking or improve your ability to speak with confidence by equipping yourself with the tools necessary to excel and reduce uneasiness while presenting a speech. This session will help you to clarify the purpose and goals of your presentation, understand your audience, learn how to best craft and present the speech, and handle Q&A’s like a pro.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ann Margolin is a former member of the Dallas City Council and was the first woman to chair the board of Parkland Hospital. She is an entrepreneur and community leader. Ann holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an MA in Communication from Northwestern.
