December 6 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Join us for a morning with some of the Metroplex’s top funders to hear from them directly on their funding priorities, decision-making process and other useful insights. The funders will make a brief presentation about their organization followed by a moderated Q&A and an open Q&A for attendees to ask the funders questions.
Communities Foundation of Texas has made more than $1.7 billion in grants since 1953 to support education, health care, public safety, social services, animals and the arts. The organization has three grant giving areas: LOI process which is an open call for small dollar, wide-breadth grants; Community Impact Grants that are issue-specific and focus on increasing the economic security of low-income families and racial equality; and Caruth Foundation Grants consisting of multi-year, complex grants focused on medical and scientific research, public safety and education.
The Rees-Jones Foundation selectively supports efforts that enhance the quality of life of North Texas residents, especially initiatives that help economically underserved communities. The Foundation also funds leading animal welfare organizations that are a resource to the community and promote the ethical and humane treatment of companion animals.
The Rosewood Foundation mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through grants supporting the arts, education, environmental conservation, healthcare, and children and families living in poverty. The Foundation seeks to make contributions that will produce a meaningful, measurable and positive impact to the quality of life for present and future generations.
