15 Tools for Motivating Your Board

Why are so many volunteers and staff members reluctant to participate in approaching prospects and donors? How can board chairs, development committee members, nonprofit CEOs and professional fundraising staff lead their board and volunteer teams to own – and even enjoy – the essential and ultimately rewarding work of major gifts fundraising?
This workshop provides practical concepts, tools, and activities for:
- Understanding prospect and donor needs, and
- Increasing the comfort level and confidence of staff and volunteers in approaching prospects and donors.
In this “train-the-trainer” workshop, nonprofit leaders will learn how to increase volunteer and staff participation in approaching and engaging prospects and donors.

In addition, she is a past president of the Chapter, has held accreditation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 1990 and is a BoardSource Certified Governance Trainer.
