The United Way of West Ellis County provides help for many people-service agencies in Ellis County. We use funds to provide assistance to a wide range of people in need by working with community leaders, businesses, government agencies, other non-profit organizations and individuals. The UWWEC is an entirely local organization.  The money raised here is put directly back into West Ellis County.  It is governed by a local Board of Directors and money is awarded to agencies based on the local needs in this community.
