The Clariden School

Company Information

The Clariden School is a 501c3 non-profit that specializes in project-based learning with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) and liberal/fine arts (music, theater, art, philosophy, writing, language arts, and more). Students, in addition to doing their content subjects (math, science, language arts and history) engage in a series of projects over the course of the school year. These projects are designed and written to engage students in learning not only about the content presented in the project but also students learn the process of being a part of a project. They learn project management, how to be a part of a team, how to problem-solve and create, and they learn how to present their findings and reflect on their process. Students become active learners in their school work, as their work is applied to real-life scenarios and/or competitions.

Clariden's award-winning curriculum and programs are implemented to our youngest of students (3 years of age) all the way through to our graduating seniors. Clariden has a 100% graduation rate and a 100% college acceptance rate. Clariden students' test scores exceed the national and state averages and we can't help but believe that our curriculum, our small learning environment and our awesome faculty, make a significant impact on our students' learning.
