Non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to environmental preservation through public education and the conservation of birds of prey and wildlife in their natural habitat. BPRC is a raptor rehabilitation facility receiving an average 600 patients each year with the focus on rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey (hawks, owls, falcons, eagles and vultures). BPRC does an average 250 outreach and on-site programs each year with birds of prey for schools, community events and other interested organizations. BPRC also does Blackland Prairie restoration, an endangered habitat necessary for many native species.
